Convert bank statements to Excel for tax prep

Tax prep usually means turning a year of bank statements into totals for income, expenses, and deductions, and doing that from a stack of PDFs is slow and error-prone. Upload each statement here and download an Excel or CSV file with every transaction in its own row, ready to sort by category or hand straight to your accountant. It works with statements from most major US banks, plus a general parser for anything else. We recompute the running balance from the transactions we extract and compare it to the balances printed on your statement. A match earns a verified badge, to the cent; if the numbers don't reconcile, the file is labeled for review instead of delivered as confirmed, which matters when the numbers are going on a tax return. Your PDF is deleted the moment conversion finishes, and your first conversion costs nothing.

Verified, not guessed.

We reconcile every row against your statement's opening and closing balances, to the cent. Statements that don't reconcile are labeled for review, never silently delivered wrong.

Deleted immediately.

Your PDF is encrypted in transit and at rest, and deleted the moment conversion finishes. Not after 24 hours. Immediately. Converted files are kept 7 days so you can re-download, then deleted too.

Your data stays here.

Conversion runs on hardware we own. Your statement is never sent to a third-party AI service, and we never train anything on your data.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert a full year of statements for my accountant?

Yes, upload each monthly statement separately and combine the downloaded spreadsheets, or send your accountant the individual files. We don't currently batch multiple months into a single upload.

Does this help with Schedule C or business deductions?

The Excel or CSV file gives you every transaction with date, description, debit, credit, and balance, which you or your accountant can sort into income and deductible expense categories. We don't provide tax advice or determine what's deductible.

How trustworthy are the numbers for something as important as taxes?

We recompute the running balance from the extracted rows and compare it to the balances printed on your statement before calling it verified. Anything that doesn't reconcile is flagged for review rather than handed to you as correct.

What if a statement needs review right before a filing deadline?

Download the spreadsheet, check it against the PDF for the flagged transactions, and correct anything manually if needed. A needs-review label means the automatic check didn't match, not that the data is unusable.

Is my financial data kept private during tax season?

Your PDF is encrypted in transit and at rest, processed on hardware we own, and deleted the moment conversion finishes. It's never sent to a third-party AI service.
